A Folk and Food evening is a concert and a meal in a venue where guests buy a single ticket to cover both the music and the food. The food will vary according to the venue, but is typically a buffet and a dessert such as cheesecake. The Fishguard Session.
FROM 19th JULY 2016. BACK IN THE ROYAL OAK. EVERY TUESDAY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
The session is informal and features folk and traditional performers, shanties, Welsh songs, Irish jigs and reels, singer/songwriters, and more. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in or just listen.

Known for his virtuoso guitar style, he is primarily a prolific and gifted songwriter. With a style that invites you into a unique world, he weaves a narrative that is both significant and poignant.
Tuesday 29th November - John Spiers. Mixing infectious dance tunes with incredibly sensitive and moving slow airs on a mind-boggling range of different squeezeboxes, John’s solo shows are a mixture of traditional material and his own more intricate compositions interspersed with an easy-going, humorous and informative banter.

Singing for Fun The Welsh branch of Singing for Fun   Memorial Hall on Station Road in Letterston.
An ever-growing group (there are now over thirty singers) that meets on the second Monday morning of the month. All are welcome to join. Check the web site for dates!

Llandovery Folk Dancing Meet regularly on the third Friday of the month (except August) with only an occasional variation. Dancing is usually of a British origin, (Welsh, English, or Scottish) with a variation of any of these on occasions, for example: Cornish or Manx.
